"Minotaurs make an effective melee infantry. The result of Ancient Ones' more aducious Life Threads experiments, Minotaurs are intelligent but vicous, and difficult to control." |
Minotaurs (also called Minos) are good defensive troops with heavy weapons such as hammers and axes. You shouldn't put Minos in battle, because at least 2 of them die when you attack a lv 5+ wild. They should only be used in defense.
Minotaurs are the single most effective troop to train using infusions during a non-elite power challenge. They offer the highest power/population ratio of any troop. If you have no infusions, conscripts are the best power/speed ratio.
Training Requirements[]
- Research: Metallurgy level 1
- Buildings: Garrison or Training Camp level 3, Metalsmith level 1
- Resources: Food 200, Idle pop. 1, Lumber 150, Metals 400
Use this troop in on your own risk- it's a very weak troop in battle, and dies fast. However, at least train them, as every troop is useful.
